$1,000 worth of copper stolen

Two Colquitt County residents reported Tuesday they were victims of property theft. Items reported stolen included a washing machine, copper wire and extension cords.
The value of the items reported stolen was $1,300. Those who reported being the victims of theft were:
• Frank Banks reported a thief stole a Whirlpool washer from his rental house on Seminole Drive between Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The value of the stolen washer was $250. Banks gave sheriff’s deputies the name of a male suspect.
• Becky Harrod reported a thief stole loose copper wire, four rolls of copper wire and two extension cords from a warehouse on South Baker Street in Ellenton between 5 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The value of the stolen items was $1,050.

Moultrie Police
• Tonya Gail Bynum, 29, of 1163 13th St. S.E., was charged Wednesday with giving false information to an officer.
• Daniel Roberts, 39, of 904 Fourth St. N.W., was charged Wednesday with interference with an officer.
Sheriff’s Office
• Debra Ann Villarreal, 28, of 514 Sleepy Bear Road in Norman Park, was charged Tuesday with kidnapping.

• Billy Harris reported someone forced open a door at the country store on Cool Springs Road in Norman Park and forced open an upstairs apartment door, damaging both, between 9 a.m. Sunday and 10:18 a.m. Tuesday. Damage was estimated at about $500.
