Deputies need better radios
“Why does the county not provide adequate equipment for our deputies? These men women are out in our community to serve and protect and they can’t get so much as a radio that will communicate properly or get a signal in every location.
“Can you say dangerous! Wow.”
Illiteracy is everywhere
“‘Doctors serving rural areas need to be capable of working with illiterate patients.’ And urban doctors don’t?
“So people who live in rural Georgia are more illiterate than those living in cities? Really?!?
“Ridiculous.”
Requiring names would clean up Rant and Rave
“If people who submit the nasty and hateful comments to Rant and Rave had to submit their names, the section would not be nearly as ugly as it has become.
“This only mirrors the ugly divisive politics that exist at the national level today. It has gotten way out of hand. Let’s at least stop this at the local level.”
Thank you to Principal Dixon
“I would like to thank Jamie Dixon, principal of the Colquitt County High School. I ran into a situation with my child at the school and his response to the situation was outstanding!!
“Great job, Mr. Dixon.”
