MOULTRIE, Ga. — Sunset Elementary School recently honored the Students of the Month for October. These students were chosen by their teachers as part of the school’s character education program, led by counselor Patience Hicks.

Each month, a word is chosen as the Character Education Word of the Month. The word for the month of October was respect. An ice cream party was given on their behalf for exhibiting respect.

Each student will also receive a certificate and a gift bag including a pencil and a special cup with the words, “Sunset Elementary School Student of the Month” inscribed on it.
