Man shot in arm on South Main Street

MOULTRIE, Ga. β€” Moultrie police are investigating a Monday morning shooting that occurred on South Main Street near the intersection of Lower Meigs Road.

Police were dispatched at about 10 a.m. to Colquitt Regional Medical Center, Moultrie Police Department Sgt. Vernon Nobles said.

When they arrived they found that Alier Salabarria had been shot once and had a wound that was not thought to be life-threatening.

β€œHe was shot in the right arm,” Nobles said.

Salabarria was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
