MOULTRIE, Ga. — William Green, the suspect arrested after the robbery of Advance Auto Parts on Friday, has been linked to several other robberies.

Moultrie Police Department Sgt. Eric Hill said the robber at Advance Auto Parts Friday used methods similar to those use in two previous robberies — too similar to be a coincidence, he said. One of the robberies involved the same Advance Auto Parts store.

“There were certain similarities to the one before at the same store and certain things he did such as threatening people and locking them in the restroom — just subtle things that were just too similar for us to overlook,” Hill said.

Green remains in the Colquitt County Jail, and Moultrie police have issued two more warrants against him in connection with the earlier robberies.
