Red Cross Dining for Disaster to serve relief aid

THOMASVILLE — The fifth annual Dining for Disaster is Thursday, April 4, with 26 restaurants participating to date.
“We hope to secure more restaurants,” said Mark Harmon, a member of the Red Cross of South Georgia chapter board.
Participating restaurants will donate 10 percent of April 4 sales to the Red Cross.
Proceeds will go to disaster relief for the 20 counties — including Thomas County — covered by the chapter.
“We always need to be mindful there is a tremendous need,” Harmon said.
