In recognition of the incredibly professional and caring hospital we have here in Colquitt County, we would like to have this “thank you” letter printed so the community will also know what a wonderful community partner we have in Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Dear Colquitt Regional Family,

In a time when having the support and love of family was needed, we were completely overwhelmed at the family reception we received the minute we arrived at the emergency room with my father. We were treated with respect and unending compassion from every member of the staff from the ER up to the Second Floor. My father was treated with the dignity he deserved as a retired Army veteran, who had served his country.

We thank each and every one of you for the kind words and the care you gave us during our time of sorrow. We thank you for treating us like we were family and never hesitating to make sure that my father was comfortable and that we were, too. As our hearts were breaking over losing a man who was the center of our lives, we thank you for trying to comfort us and making sure we had no other worries to interrupt our precious time with him. It was truly the little things that were done for us that meant so much.
