MOULTRIE, Ga. — A-1 Auto Transport, a nationwide auto transport company operating in Georgia is once again offering their annual college scholarship to eligible college bound students.

Scholarships for $1,000, $500 and $250 are awarded annually and Moultrie students are eligible.

To meet eligibility requirements the students must be enrolled in, or plan to enroll in an accredited college, university or a certified trade school that offers truck driving and transportation or logistics classes. There are no age requirements, but students do need to show proof of a minimum 3.0 GPA.

To apply for the scholarship, students need to write an essay with a minimum of 1,000 words and it must be focused on a topic of interest in the auto transport industry. Topics may include but not be limited to the following:

• Nationwide Car Shipping

• Classic Car Shipping

• Motorcycle Shipping

• Boat Shipping

• Long Distance Moving

• International Moving

• Door to Door Vehicle Transport

• Enclosed Vehicle Transport

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the deadline for entry on March 10, 2020.

All essays will be posted to the A-1 Auto Transport website where the student/author will receive attribution and the public will be able to view the essay. Winners will be chosen by the A-1 Auto Transport Scholarship Committee and will be notified by the end of March 2020.
