VALDOSTA — Kids ages 12 and younger are invited to create a special Mother’s Day mug and coaster for mom. 

The event will take place 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in the Valdosta Mall, near the Dallas Wayne entrance, mall representatives said. 

The event is free although supplies are limited. 

“Valdosta Mall continues to give back to our community by hosting one-of-a-kind craft events for families throughout the year,” said Tim Nolan, general manager for Valdosta Mall. 

Mall representatives encourage participants to arrive early as supplies are limited.
