Supplies giveaway

Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 501 8th St. NW, will be having a free back-to-school supplies giveaway (including clothing) on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Anniversary

Rochelle Baptist Church will celebrate its annual pastor and church anniversary July 31 with New Jerusalem, Aug. 1 with Willow Grove, Aug. 2 with St. Mary and Aug. 4 with Sinner Friend Baptist churches. Services are at 7 each night.

Called meeting

Colquitt County Board of Commissioners will hold a called meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, in Room 261-C of the Courthouse Annex. The purposes are for an adoption of millage rates, the mid-month review and any other county business deemed necessary.

Back to school

Raceway, 1301 N. Veterans Parkway, will be giving away school supplies during its customer appreciation event 3-5 p.m. Saturday.
