Deputies investigate multiple car break-ins

VALDOSTA — Lowndes County sheriff’s deputies investigated a number of automobile break-ins that occurred within a few blocks of each other late Saturday and early Sunday, according to reports released later this week.
Two of the break-ins took place in the 4200 block of Shelby Lane. In one, an iPad, valued at $600, a FLIR thermal imager, valued at $1,200, and a moisture reader, valued at $1,000, were taken from a truck belonging to a cleaning company.
In the other incident, a set of brown Michael Kors luggage, valued at $200, was taken, state reports.
A third break-in took place a few blocks away, in the 4100 block of Meredith Drive. A Texas driver’s license, a wallet and a USAA credit card were taken, state reports.
