MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie Fire Department recently announced promotions of four Moultrie Fire Department employees. Moultrie Fire Chief Jeff Thibodeau said he’s happy with the number of skilled employees the department employs.

“As a fire chief you always want your men to advance in the ranks. I congratulate Chad Kilgore on his promotion to Battalion Chief, Joshua Gay to Lieutenant, and Keith Walker and Chris Pilgrim to Sergeant,“ Thibodeau commented. “The City of Moultrie should be proud that their fire department had more very qualified people for battalion chief, lieutenant, and sergeant then we had positions for. With saying that we still have very qualified men and women ready to take the next step in the fire service when the positions open, which means the Moultrie Fire Department is ready and willing for any challenge that comes our way.“
