• Terrence Osby, 28, 200 Veterans Parkway N., was charged Aug. 26 with violation of probation and sex offender failed to report.

• David William Hickey II, 41, 236 Lazy Bear Road, Norman Park, was charged Aug. 26 with two counts of criminal trespassing (family violence) and possession of a firearm.

• Tommy Wayne Baxley, 71, 7604 County Road 91, Slocomb, Ala., was charged Aug. 27 with failure to appear in court.

• Angela Marie Palmer, 50, 708 Edmonds S.W. Road, was charged Aug. 26 with disorderly conduct and simple battery.

• Amamilla Vargas, 46, 1335 Alton Road, Norman Park, was charged Aug. 28 with failure to drive within a single lane and driving without a license.

• Kaylee Lynn Gay, 20, 142 N. Green St., Norman Park, was charged Aug. 28 with probation violation.

• Everett Lewis Smith, 32, 600 12th Ave. S.E., was charged Aug. 28 with driving while his license was withdrawn, reckless driving, fleeing or evading police or roadblock, improper stopping on roadway, probation violation, and driving without a seatbelt.

• Billy Cordero, 32, 136 Dogwood Drive, was charged Aug. 28 with failure to appear in court (bench warrant) for sexual battery.

• Juan Manuel Armas Cano, 19, 1121 11th St. S.E., was charged Aug. 27 with statutory rape, child molestation, aggravated child molestation, interference with custody of child.

Shots fired

• A man on Trailer Park Road reported that a black two-door car drove by on Georgia Highway 33 towards Pavo, Georgia and fired four shots into the air, one of which he said hit his mobile home. Damage was found to the mobile home.

Property damage

• A man on Chambers Lane told police Aug. 27 that he got into a verbal dispute with a woman and was reported to have thrown her iPhone 7 Plus onto a wooden table and broke it. According to the deputy’s report, the woman initially told the officers that she wanted to collect her property and leave the residence, but she later sought to press charges against the man.

Thefts

• A man on Church Street in Ellenton reported his blue Ford Expedition had been stolen Aug. 26. The vehicle was later found.

• A man on Sylvester Drive reported his gold money clip stolen Aug. 26. The clip contained $50 in cash, a driver’s license and three credit cards.

Arrests

• Kayla Krysten Blackburn, 35, 1726 Hutchinson Drive, was charged Aug. 28 with probation violation.

• Reginald Wright, 23, 710 East Inn Street, Valdosta, was charged Aug. 27 with probation violation.

• Larry Joe Fannin, 41, 118 Lobolly Road, was charged Aug. 26 with probation violation for fourth degree forgery, possession of meth and criminal trespassing.

• Andrietta Shantevia Palmore, 27, 13th Avenue Southwest, was charged with probation violation for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

• Joey Allen Hill, 34, 638 Country Farm Road, was charged Aug. 28 with disorderly conduct.

• Deangelo Maurice Adams, 31, 1106 Third Ave. N.W., was charged Aug. 27 with probation violation, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, possession of a knife or firearm while trying to commit crimes, and battery.

• Marshell King, 54, 3356 GA Highway 37 E., was charged Aug. 13 with parole violation.

Thefts

• Two bicycles and a scooter were stolen from a garage in the 1300 block of Fairview Drive Aug. 27. The items were valued at $560 altogether. The homeowner’s security camera caught video of two teenagers entering the garage and leaving with the bicycles and scooter, police said.

• A woman reported her wallet was taken from her purse Aug. 26 while she was at Magnolia Manor, 3003 Veterans Parkway S.

Property damage

• A woman in the 1600 block of Old Camilla Highway reported someone apparently tried to break into her house Aug. 27. A blind was broken on a window where a window air conditioning unit sits.

Arrests

• Clyde Doyle Hamby Sr., 58, 367 Jasmine Lane, Omega, was charged Aug. 22 with selling meth, probation violation, driving with a suspended tag, possessing no insurance, fleeing or attempting to evade police officers, possession of meth, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, failure to stop for stop signs on two counts, reckless driving, speeding, failure to drive within a single lane, and driving while license was withdrawn.

Arrests

• Mary Malinta Peek, 69, 22 Ridge Road, was charged Aug. 27 with speeding and driving under the influence.
