Many of us die hard Atlanta Braves fans were very disappointed with the outcome of the Braves season.

The Braves left too many men on base and just couldn’t score. Oh well, that’s baseball.

For some of us fans, baseball season is over. But, I say wait a minute.

In 1962 and 1963, our hometown of Moultrie, Georgia was the home of the Moultrie Colt 22’s.

The Colt’s were a Minor League affiliate of the Houston Colt 45’s.

So, with our ties to the Houston ball club, yes we have a team to root for!

Go Astros!

Don’t get me wrong, I will always be a Braves fan. But, for the next few day’s, I will be an Astros fan.
