• Halloween Trick-or-Treating

While trick-or-treating, remember that children should never go alone and shouldn’t approach houses that are not lit up. Bright colors, reflective tape strips and flashlights are a good idea for those walking. Drivers need to ensure they’re paying close attention to anyone walking in the streets as excited children can dart out into the road with little warning. Parents should always look through candy before allowing children to consume any and discard anything with open packaging or that looks like it was tampered with.
