MOULTRIE – Be it on offense or defense, the Colquitt County High Packers are having their way with the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors of Jacksonville 38-0 at halftime on Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium.

Senior quarterback Jaycee Harden is 13-for-18 passing for 242 yards and two touchdowns, both caught by the all-purpose threat of the Packers, Montavious Ponder.

Senior running back Daijun Edwards has two rushing 1-yard touchdowns to his credit. In all, he’s carried 13 times for 61 yards and caught three passes for 63 yards.

Trinity Christian opened the game gaining 50 yards in its first series. Afterwards, the visitors netted five yards and gained no first downs amid all kind of issues in special teams and throwing the football.

The first quarter ended with just one scoring play, one of Edwards’ touchdown runs, and a 7-0 score in favor of the Packers. But in the second period, each Colquitt possession ended as such

While Omarian Daniels made the big play to end Trinity Christian’s opening drive, Callon Kubiak, Ty’Li Lewis, Ty French, Zy Brockington and Antonio Spradley shut things down the rest of the half. Spradley in fact scored the final touchdown with a 30-yard interception return.
