Officials of Ameris Bank stopped by the temporary location of the Moultrie public library recently, and the library staff had a chance to say thank you for the loan of the building at 225 S. Main St. The library is renovating its home on Fifth Street Southeast, where it’s been since 1964; construction officially began last week and is expected to finish in the fourth quarter. The bank had moved from the Main Street building to the former Bank of America building across the street, and the building had been renovated afterwards. The library opened there Feb. 20.
