Lafayette’s Siverain signs with Pasco-Hernando State College

MAYO, Fla. — Lafayette High basketball standout Ylusse Siverain signed with Pasco-Hernando State College on April 6.
Siverain started his high school career at Melody Christian Academy and was one of the top young players in the area starting as an eighth grader. He averaged 17 points, six rebounds and four assists per game during his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Siverain played his final two years for the Hornets. In his senior season, he went for 26 points, eight rebounds and four assists in a game against Union County. In his last high school game, he scored a game-high 20 points against Hamilton County.
Pasco Hernando State College competes on the junior college level, playing teams all over the state. They are based in New Port Richey.
Siverain chose PHSC over offers from Webber International, Ave Maria, Warner University, Thomas University, Pensacola Christian University, Johnson University, Covenant College, Brevard College and Brewton Parker College.
