Valdosta business robbed at gunpoint

VALDOSTA, Ga. — Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday at a Valdosta business, according to police.
At 4:58 a.m., an unknown man walked into the Phillips 66 gas station at 917 Baytree Road with a firearm and demanded money, said Lt. Adam Bembry of the Valdosta Police Department.
He took a pack of cigarettes and an undetermined amount of money before fleeing, according to Bembry and a police report.
There were no injuries, and detectives are investigating, he said.
