Mother Easter Baptist Church to host spring revival

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Rev. Freddie L. Castle and the Mother Easter Baptist Church family will have their Spring Revival Monday-Wednesday, May 21-23, at 7 p.m. nightly.
Greater Newton Grove Cathedral, which is led by Ambassador C.L. Ponder III, will be in charge of Monday night’s service. Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. John W. Greene serves as pastor will be in charge of Tuesday night’s service and Mother Easter will conclude the revival on Wednesday night.
The Rev. Carl White Jr., pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Albany, Ga., will be the guest revivalist.
White is the son of the Rev. Carl and Juanita White Sr. He is the senior pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. A native of Albany, White is a poised yet dynamic preacher/teacher who seeks to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a relevant manner for individuals of every age, according to a press release from Mother Easter Baptist Church. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Albany State University and his Master of Divinity from Houston Graduate School of Theology in Houston, Texas.
White is married to Yasmine Renee White, a native of Atlanta, and they have two girls, Ava Elyce and Anna Isabella White.
White holds the title of second vice president in the Albany Baptist Ministers Conference.
Additionally, he is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated and a member of the Local School Governing Board at Martin Luther King Elementary School.
Among his gifts and talents, White enjoys playing the piano, reading and spending time with family, but his greatest desire is to preach and teach the Word of God.
Mother Easter is located at 1400 W. Central Ave., across from the old Riverside Manufacturing Company.
