As someone who enjoys local area baseball history, I am looking for information on the 1948 Meigs High School Baseball Team.

In 1948, Meigs won the Class C State Baseball Championship. Two players, that I know of that were on the team, were Reid Carlton and Richard Brown. Meigs beat Glenwood High School to win the State Title. The game was played in Leary, Ga.

I would like to know more about the Meigs team, season, who played on the team, who the coach was, and see if anyone has a team photo. Appreciate any help and information.
