Back to School picnic

Berlin City Council is sponsoring a “Back to School Picnic” and Movie in the Park on Saturday, Aug. 4, beginning at 5 p.m. The event will be held in the park and the Berlin Social Hall. Community members are invited to come out to enjoy food, fun and fellowship.

Alzheimer’s Walk

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Campus Track in Tifton. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Nearly 300 people from Ben Hill, Charlton, Calhoun, Coffee, Colquitt, Irwin, Tift and Turner counties are expected at this year’s event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease.

Masonic lodge
