VALDOSTA, Ga. — RKDS Entertainment & Media LLC, has announce the DVD release of their feature film, “Spook Bridge,” which was shot on location in Brooks County.

Roy Kirkland, co-owner and producer, said that the film will be distributed nationwide this year through various marketing venues but he wanted to allow residents of South Georgians an opportunity to purchase the DVD first.

The film was re-edited from an R rating to a PG version.

RKDS Entertainment and Media LLC will present a DVD release party at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Mathis City Auditorium Multipurpose Room in Valdosta.

Although the movie will not be shown, the event will include food, chances for ticket holders to win prizes from area merchants, a Halloween costume contest, and entertainment.

DVDs, Blu-Rays, T-shirts and posters of the film will be available for purchase as well.

Tickets for the event are $15, which includes a copy of the DVD, or $25, which includes a copy of the Blu-ray. Tickets and merchandise may be purchased at the event or visit SpookBridge.com.
