Leadership Georgia arrives in Downtown Moultrie

- State Rep. Sam Watson of Moultrie served as master of ceremonies for the short welcoming event. Watson and his wife, Emily, are alumni of Leadership Georgia and are serving as hosts for the class’s three-day visit.
MOULTRIE, Ga. — The 2018 class of Leadership Georgia arrived about 4:30 p.m. Thursday on the Colquitt County Courthouse Square, where they were greeted by Colquitt County High cheerleaders, a presentation of the colors by the high school Junior ROTC, the national anthem by the CCHS A Capella Choir and speeches from city and county leaders.
