Grief Support Group

A grief support group for miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss will be held at 5:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of every month at Colquitt Regional Medical Center’s Education Services Building, 13 Hospital Park.

Kids Safety Expo

The South Georgia chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving will sponsor a Kids Safety Expo 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Save-A-Lot on Fifth Street Southeast. Other participating agencies include Moultrie Police Department, Georgia State Patrol Post 12, Moultrie Fire Department, sheriff’s offices from Cook, Tift, Lowndes and Colquitt counties, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, NAMI Moultrie and Mo Town Customs. Albany Museum of Art

On Thursday, Oct 25, the Albany Museum of Art will host its “Autumn Reception for Home Tour,” the currently exhibiting “Georgia Artists Guild of Albany 25th annual Juried Competition” in the West Gallery, and “Brian Dettmer: Selective Collective Memories,” which opens Oct 25, in the East Gallery. The reception is 5-7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
