MOULTRIE, Ga. — Students in Shanna Simmons’s class at Willie J. Williams Middle School planted seeds at the beginning of the year.

With the guidance of Patrick Wilder of Wilder Plant Company, students had a schedule for fertilizing, spraying for insects and watering. They were able to produce pumpkins to take home.

Soil was donated by Lowe’s and Home Depot of Moultrie. Seeds were donated by Trev Simmons.
