Denson attends Ford Motor Co. seminar
DALTON, Ga. — Jason Denson with Ford of Dalton participated in a four-day seminar for dealers in Dearborn, Michigan, sponsored by Ford Motor Co. The seminar discussed ways to meet or exceed customer expectations and to help those customers be more completely satisfied every time they visit Ford of Dalton whether it is to shop, to buy or lease a new or used vehicle or to get their existing vehicle serviced. Ford executives were involved with dealers throughout the seminar and a variety of programs which Ford provides to support dealership actions were highlighted. As part of the seminar, dealers toured an assembly plant. That process was assisted by Ford management and members of the United Automobile Workers. Denson is the dealer principal and co-owner of Ford of Dalton. He has operated the business since March 28. Denson started in the automobile business in 1997 with Sale Auto Mall in Dalton. He and his wife Andrea have four children and reside in Dalton.
43rd annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show set for Jan. 17
TIFTON, Ga. — Make plans to attend the 43rd annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show and Conference scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center in Tifton. The one-day show is free and open to all farmers and industry representatives to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with more than 100 agribusinesses and organizations in the peanut and agricultural industry. Farmers will be able to earn private and commercial pesticide applicator certification, as well as learn about cutting-edge research and developments during the University of Georgia Peanut Production Seminar and industry-wide sponsored Peanut Seed Seminar. The Georgia Peanut Commission, in cooperation with OneBlood, will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. during the show. At the close of the day, there will be nearly $10,000 in door prizes presented to farmers, as well as a Grand Door Prize, vendor products, certificates and equipment.
