Ameris Bank gives to storm victims

ALBANY, Ga. — Ameris Bank has committed a $7,500 donation to the American Red Cross to assist with recovery efforts following the devastating storms that hit southwest Georgia Jan. 22.

As part of the bank’s ‘feet on the street’ program, employees at multiple branches have also collected water, toiletries, cleaning supplies, food and clothing that will be distributed to assist those in need throughout Albany, Sylvester, Adel and other areas in Dougherty, Worth and Cook counties.

Ameris Bank employees have also been assisting with tree removal and clean up.
