MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — A 20-year-old Milledgeville man sought by local authorities in connection with tattooing a juvenile was arrested Tuesday following a police chase.

After about a 90-minute chase along portions of North Main Street and other areas near where the suspect lives, authorities arrested Christopher Sanders of 138 N. Main St. without further incident.

Sanders, who was wanted on outstanding probation warrants, was also charged with one count of tattooing a minor and one count of obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

The suspect is accused of having recently tattooed a 13-year-old with the initials, “YSB,” according to authorities. The initials reportedly stand for “Young Slaughter Boys.”

The teen’s mother reported the incident to Deputy Charles Gillis a few days ago.

Sanders reportedly charged the teen $9 to do the tattoo with a blue ink pen and a staple.

Burrell said he and fellow Detective Greg See spotted Sanders.

“As soon as we started to hit the brakes to turn around, he (Sanders) took off running,” Burrell told The Union-Recorder Thursday. “We spotted him in front of the old Martin’s IGA on Allen Memorial Drive.”

Two others with him at the time, a man and a juvenile, also took off running, Burrell said.

The man and juvenile were apprehended moments later and released.

The suspect was later taken into custody and taken to the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center.

“He ended up doubling back to his house,” Burrell said. “He then ran out the back door and along the side of his house before he ran through a couple of nearby yards.”

Detective Bob Butch and Deputy Raymond Mosley took Sanders into custody on Lockwood Street, Burrell said.

Milledgeville Police Department K-9 officer Linc Boyer and his dog were called out to assist in the foot chase.

Since his arrest, Burrell said Sanders had admitted to having tattooed “multiple people,” including some juveniles.
