MOULTRIE, Ga. — Camp WinShape is returning to Moultrie June 5-9 for the third year and will be held at Willie J. Williams Middle School.

Registration begins Sunday, March 12. The cost of the camp is $209 per child.  The first 100 campers will receive $30 off.  The registration fee of $50 begins registration and money can be added to the camper’s account leading up to camp.  Register at www.winshapecamps.org.  

On April 18, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., four WinShape counselors will be at Chick-fil-A to give everyone a glimpse of camp.  Please plan to attend to see camp in action.  Plus, Chick-fil-A will donate 10 percent of the receipts from that night to the WinShape Scholarship Fund.

Camp hours will be 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 5-8, and 8-1 on Friday, June 9.  On Chick-fil-A Friday Family Fun Day, parents will be invited to spend the entire day with their campers for a family experience. At the close of camp, everyone eats Chick-fil-A for free!

WinShape Camps is a Christian-based day camp founded by Truett Cathy, who was the founder of the Chick-fil-A restaurants. WinShape provides 28 college and seminary students that have trained to be camp counselors.  

WinShape is for completed first through sixth graders and combines sports, recreation, arts, Bible study and worship into one unforgettable week.  Campers select six activities from 20 different skill choices and are then matched to three during the week of camp.  Skill choices are: archery, basketball, cheerleading, crafts, dance, fast food, flag football, girl world, gymnastics, lacrosse, leaders in training, man land, musical theatre, painting, secret ops, soccer, wacky science, yard games, sew much fun, and under construction.  

There are 45 spots for seventh through ninth graders as well. They spend the day in their own “galaxy” and only interact with the main camp during group worship.
