“ Thank you to the middle school girls and boys soccer teams and their coaches for hosting the end of season tournament last Friday and Saturday. They represented Colquitt County in a way that makes soccer fans proud.

Our schools

“You know, if we only had three or four elementary schools instead of 11 very different ones, we wouldn’t have all this moving around, jealousy, infighting and inequities! All of our Colquitt County students should have the same opportunities and you know they don’t in our current setup! We need fairness in our county!

Field trips

“I  think school field trips should be in Georgia. Let’s keep our money here instead of sending it to Hawaii, Florida, Washington or New York. Shop local – stay local!
