DAR gives tree to the city

- In observance of Earth Day, the John Benning Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) donated a river birch tree to the City of Moultrie to be planted in the Wesley Ball Memorial Park. Conservation is one of the objectives of the DAR. City Beautification Supervisor Freddy Farrell (third from left) assisted DAR members Katrina McIntosh, Nancy Coleman, Jean Gay and Paula Neely in planting the tree.
