We also welcome Kayce Ackerman as our new Marketing Director. Kayce is a recent graduate of VSU with a Major in marketing and a Minor in art so we are excited to have her on board! We will certainly miss Lin Sheffield who has served the Arts Center well for the past ten years and is moving on to a new position with The Bascom Center for Visual Arts in Highlands, North Carolina.
We are also excited to welcome Tina Logan as a new instructor in the dance studio. Tina Logan, MD, is a fitness, wellness and art enthusiast. Tina will be offering Barre low impact, cardio sculpt work combining elements of ballet and Pilates. Each participant will need a yoga mat and sticky socks – some socks will be available for purchase at the first class.
Classes will be on Monday and Wednesday‘s at 10 AM and 5:30 PM and on Fridays at noon. $65 month will give you access to all classes or you can drop in for $12 class. Private lessons are also being offered. Class size is limited so call today to secure your spot!
There will be an “Open Barre Night” on Thursday, June 1st from 5:30 PM-7:00 PM for those interested in seeing what Barre is all about. Bring your own yoga mat and in lieu of hand weights bring two heavy cans of food to be donated to the Colquitt County Food Bank after the class.

Recitals will be held at the Wright Auditorium of the Arts Center.
Plan to attend our Evening in the Garden Luau on Saturday, May 20th at 7 PM. Evening activities will be in the sculpture garden and in the ballroom and include dinner, drinks, music, art auction and a photo booth. Should be a fun evening! Tickets are $25 person and $40 per couple.
