CCHS students attend VSU mathematics event

VALDOSTA — Six students and two adults from Colquitt County High School attended Valdosta State University’s 22nd annual Sonia Kovalevsky Day on April 27.
SK Day — named in honor of the first woman to earn a doctorate in mathematics — seeks to encourage high school women to pursue the study of mathematics and prepare for possible careers in mathematics related fields.
