“The reason we were there is because he was not where he was supposed to be,” a narcotics agents said, in reference to the Thomas County mobile home park residence where Colston was arrested.

“He’s known to sell drugs,” said Keith Newman, narcotics/vice assistant commander.

Inside the mobile home agents reportedly found 25 grams of crystal methamphetamine in two bags and three bags containing eight grams of powder cocaine. The contraband was in a tote bag in a closet.

Newman said Colston admitted the drugs were his.

Colston is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and probation violation.

“The amount of methamphetamine and cocaine he had is indicative of a dealer, not a user,” Newman said.
