MOULTRIE, Ga. — A man whose companion knocked on a woman’s door at midnight to report that he was having a heart attack may have made a miraculous recovery when the resident mentioned her gun.
Macie Lott, of the 4000 block of Ellenton-Omega Road, Omega, reported that she did not know the woman who knocked on her door at about 12:03 a.m. Wednesday. The woman told her that her husband was on the ground having a heart attack.
Lott told the woman that she would call Colquitt County E-911 service for her, police said, but it was what she said next that got the “husband’s” attention.
When Lott told the woman she had a gun, police said, he heard a male voice say: “Let’s get in the car and get out of here.”
The two left in a car.
