Arrests
Moultrie Police
• Mario Dwight Hayes, 27, 152 Doerun Road was charged Monday with sex offender failed to report on a sheriff’s office arrest warrant.
• Gary Steve Hiers, 31, 1500 Overlook Drive, was charged Monday with possession of marijuana.
• Haylee Eylse Rogers, 21, 2014 Funston-Sale City Road, was charged Monday with giving false information or false name to police officer.
• Martin Sebastian, 38, 813 Naglor Ave., Murfeesboro, Tenn., was charged Monday with driving without license and failure to stop for stop sign.
Sheriff’s Office
• Zachary Jordan McNeal, 20, 2181 U.S. Hwy. 319 N., was charged Monday with simple battery.
Deputies arrested McNeal after responding to his residence, where Brittany Murphy reported that he pushed her on the bed, held her down and also threw a bottle of window cleaner at her.
An officer found the bottle of cleaner on the kitchen floor, police said.
• John Andy Hancock, 31, 716 Rondo Gay Road, was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct.
Berlin Police
• Gary Maurice Harrington, 24, 1505 Lankford Drive, Valdosta, was charged Monday with failure to maintain insurance and expired vehicle tag or decal.

Thefts
Sheriff’s Office
• Kim Lacey, 300 block Old Albany Highway, reported the theft of property valued at $127 in the 100 block of Laney Avenue.
• Bobby Tucker, 200 block Black Acres Road, reported July 6 the theft of property valued at $90 in the 3100 block of Kendalwood Church Road.
Moultrie Police
• Empire Customs, 827 First Street Southeast, reported Monday the theft of a red AADC mini-bike valued at $1,000.
• U Deserve a Cookie, 23 E. Central Ave., reported Monday the theft of office equipment valued at $150.
• CVS Pharmacy, 1027 S. Main St., reported Monday that a shoplifter stole $100 worth of household cleaning products.
• Shidine Duncan, 40, Moultrie, reported Sunday the theft of a cell phone valued at $175.
Duncan told police that her boyfriend left the phone in a chair at a business in the 2800 block of First Avenue Southeast.
A video at a nearby business showed a man pick up the phone and put it in his pocket, police said.
• Jim Armstrong, 200 block Second Avenue Southeast, reported July 5 the theft of a 50 cc scooter valued at $1,000.
• Eddie Spence, 400 block Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, reported July 5 the theft of property valued at $98.
• Murphy Oil USA, 505 Veterans Parkway S., reported that the driver of a 1995 Chevrolet S10 pumped $15 worth of gasoline and drove away without paying.
• Wal-Mart, 641 Veterans Parkway S., reported July 5 that a male shoplifter stole merchandise valued at $109.

• Super Cee 2, 1406 West Bypass, reported July 6 the theft of property valued at $300.
• Claudia Alvarado, 24, Norman Park, reported July 5 the theft of a purse and contents valued at a total of $22 in the 900 block of First Avenue Southeast.
Entering auto
Sheriff’s Office
• H.R. Lastinger, 200 block Cook Road, reported Tuesday the theft of a High Standard semi-automatic pistol and a brown holster and belt.
The theft was discovered after deputy noticed an interior light on in a 2001 Ford F-150 at 1 a.m. at Lastinger’s residence.

• Daniel Land, 2700 block Sylvester Drive, reported Friday that a male acquaintance kicked in the door of his residence and attacked him.
Land told police that the man stole a screwdriver valued at $5.
• Preston Sammons, Moultrie, reported Friday that he was attacked by fellow jail inmates at Colquitt County Jail.
Moultrie Police
• Jade Bell, 25, Moultrie, reported July 6 that a male acquaintance assaulted her during an argument in the 400 block of 31st Street Southeast.
• Linda Clark, 1200 block Elliott Brown Street, reported July 5 that a male acquaintance assaulted her.
Fraud

• Lou Beth Parker, 1700 block Millpond Road, reported July 3 that someone made fraudulent charges totaling $2,100 on a store credit card.
Moultrie Police
• JCI Contractors, 2535 Hwy. 37 W., reported Monday an incident of identity fraud.
• Plymel’s, 800 Hwy. 133, reported Monday the passing of fraudulent checks totaling $799, $784 and $1,996 at the store.
Forgery
Sheriff’s Office
• Jerry Eubanks reported Monday that an employee from South Georgia Poultry Services in Tifton fraudulently cashed three forged checks on the company account for a total of $690.
Property damage

• Jennifer Hooker, 200 block Indian Lake Drive, Norman Park, reported Monday hearing a noise at 12:30 p.m. at her back door and, when she investigated, finding that someone had tried to pry open the door.
• Maria Contreras, Clearwater, Fla., reported Sunday that a driver struck the rear bumper of her 2004 Honda Accord while parked in the 1200 block of South Boulevard.
• Corey Donaldson, 30 block East Bethel Avenue, reported Saturday that a man damaged the windshield of a 2003 Chevrolet Impala.
Donaldson told police that a neighbor called him to tell him that she saw someone hitting the windshield. He thought the suspect may be a person to whom he owed $40 and who previously had threatened him.
• Fuller’s, 209 Fifth St. S.E., reported Friday the front door glass was shattered.
Nothing appeared to have been taken.
• Kay Kline, 6900 block Old Adel Road, reported Thursday that someone damaged about 40 feet of fencing on her property.
It appeared that a driver lost control and struck the fence after running off the roadway, police said.
• Frank Hernandez, 100 block Cedar Street, reported July 6 that someone took his 2005 Ford Mustang during the night and struck a utility pole in the 1800 block of Sardis Church Road.
• Diqna Torres, 100 block Church Street, Norman Park, reported that a 1997 Ford Escort was damaged in the 100 block of South Baker Street.
Moultrie Police
• Ricky Lee Harper, 200 block Third Street Southwest, reported that at about midnight Monday someone tried to pry open his front door.
Harper told police that he saw the black male wearing a navy blue shirt and black shorts run toward Woodmen of the World Park.
• Samuel Harden, 37, Norman Park, reported Saturday that someone damaged a residence in the 700 block of Myrtle Lane.
Harden told police that three windows and a ceiling fan were broken.
• Evangeline Stokes, 1300 block 12th Street Northwest, reported July 5 that someone damaged a 2017 Nissan Versa.
• Keisha Davis, 800 block Northside Drive, reported July 6 that someone broke the windshield of a 1998 Maxima with a rock.
