LIVE OAK — Suwannee High sophomore Josh Braun has been recognized once again as one of the top offensive linemen in the country.
Braun was named by MaxPreps to the Preseason Sophomore All-American second team.
“He’s still young, but he can be very dominant,” Suwannee coach Kyler Hall said of Braun. “For the rest of our offensive line, he’s going to make those guys better.
“That core group, up front, we’re really going to depend on.”
Braun also earned MaxPreps All-American honors after his freshman season at SHS. The 6-foot-7, 295-pound lineman isn’t the only award winner in the family.
“It’s motivation because my brother was also an All-American,” Braun said. “We’re not trying to outdo each other, but my brothers have set the standard.”
Parker Braun was named to the ESPN Freshmen All-American Team at Georgia Tech last year. The eldest Braun brother, Trey, was also a lineman at Georgia Tech and graduated from GT.
