Budget session

The City of Moultrie will hold a budget work session at 5 p.m. Sept. 5 in the council conference room at City Hall. The council’s regular meeting will follow at 6 p.m.

Church plate sale

Live Oak Missionary Church’s Pastor Anniversary Committee will hold a plate sale on Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The menu will consist of grilled chicken or pork chop, choice of two sides — greens, green beans or potato salad — and bread, cake and soda.

Donations are $7 for the chicken plane and $8 for pork chop.

The church is located at 501 Eighth St. N.W.
