VALDOSTA – The CrossPointe Church shelter reported housing about 80 people Saturday night.

The church at 4100 North Valdosta Road is an American Red Cross shelter. It has the capacity to shelter 450 people, according to a list of active shelter sites throughout the state.

No pets are allowed at the CrossPointe shelter, according to county officials.

Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 100 E. Park Ave., is another shelter, with some pet space, according to county officials.
