The Bulldogs’ game with Hamilton County has been rescheduled for Friday at 7:30 p.m. The game will be played at HCHS.

“We’re thankful it worked out to have a game,” said SHS coach Kyler Hall. “As much practice and work you put it, you want to be able to play all your games.”

Suwannee’s district game against Ribault has also been rescheduled.

SHS will now face Ribault on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Langford Stadium.

The month of October will be important for Suwannee as it plays three of its four district games in a span of 11 days.

After Ribault, SHS travels to Paxon on Oct. 13. Then the Bulldogs host Yulee on Oct. 20.

“It’s not ideal by any means,” Hall said. “We’ll have three games in seven days and three district games in 11 days. It’s going to take a toll physically and mentally. It’s quite a different schedule than many other teams. But it is what it is.”
