White Springs residents invited to recovery celebration
WHITE SPRINGS — The residents of White Springs area, are invited to a free BBQ lunch on Saturday at the Black Bay Seafood parking lot on US 41, the old Dollar General. Volunteers will be serving lunch from noon until 3 p.m. Irma hit Florida hard and in White Springs there was a lot of rain and plenty of wind. Many trees came down and power was lost. While everyone went through Irma together, each had a different set of Irma experiences. Volunteers are inviting their neighbors to come and enjoy lunch and share what happened on a personal basis. Volunteers would like to know what would make the White Springs community better the next time a powerful storm passes. The lunch is a BYOC, bring your own chair, and is brought to the community by Volunteers of White Springs.
