Parents issues

“Like you said, every year we hear people upset about Little League, homecoming court, cheerleaders, etc. From my observation, these issues stem from parents and not the kids.

Impressed

“I visited your town some weeks ago and I just want to say how impressed I was with your arts center. That was great use of an old building that otherwise would have been demolished. Many towns would be envious of you to have such a facility.

Encore?

Most Popular

“I missed the salute to the Grand Ole Opry but I heard that it was a fantastic event sold out three times. Would it be possible to have yet another performance?

Dismayed

“I would like to thank all the wonderful parents who brought babies and toddlers to the choir concert the other night. I truly enjoyed hearing your children screaming and crying over our children singing.

Bad behavior

“The behavior of students and adults at the choir concert Tuesday night was ridiculous and unacceptable! I guess we need administrators and police officers at these concerts like we have them at sporting events. Shameful!

Observation

“Why do city workers and police officers use those vehicles to take kids to school, go grocery shopping, go to Sunday services? I’m sure they are not on duty or doing repairs. Just want to know what my tax dollar is paying for.

Cell phones

“I was having negative thoughts about the deputy turning from Tallokas Road onto Old Berlin Road without using his turn signal until l saw his higher priority was the cell phone plastered to his cheek.

Justice, liberty

“Justice and liberty for all must have stopped at the color of your skin? Because when blacks complain about not receiving it, we are being disrespectful. It’s all right for the president to call someone an SOB for being a peaceful protester, but calls a torch- carrying, club wielding person acceptable. What a great country we live in?

Four-lane project

“Today I drove a portion of Highway 133 where it has been fourl-laned. I use that road routinely and I believe it’s going to be a boom for this area, especially when it connects us with Albany as well as Valdosta. We will have four-lanes crossing in Moultrie.
