Golden Olympians win in Warner Robins

The theme of the award dinner and dance at the Golden Olympics in Warner Robins was the ‘Roaring ’20s,’ and participants were asked to dress in costume for that period. Aline Holder of Moultrie won third place in the costume contest.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — The 35th Annual Golden Olympics were held at the Recreation Department in Warner Robins Sept. 27-30 with five participants representing the Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Department. The group earned 13 medals in several age groups.

In addition, one of them was recognized for her costume at the award dinner and dance. The theme of the award dinner and dance was the ‘Roaring ’20s,’ and participants were asked to dress in costume for that period. Aline Holder of Moultrie won third place in the costume contest.
