- Another sports team tried their hand at the workout too. One Way, a travel softball team, and their friends joined in to help families in need to prepare for Christmas by unloading about 750 pounds of new toys during their fall break this past Friday. MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Children’s Cheer and Toy Shop is getting ready to distribute Christmas toys to less fortunate children in the area. Work days are scheduled for Nov. 2 and Dec. 1, and the distribution is set for Dec. 7.
If anyone has new or ‘gently used’ toys, they can drop them off at 589 Industrial Drive in the new drop-box or they can take them to the nearest school and the school social worker can make arrangements to get them to the Children’s Cheer and Toy Shop.
