Mother Easter Baptist plans Fall Revival

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Mother Easter Baptist Church family and their pastor, the Rev. Freddie L. Castle, invite the public to fellowship with them in their Fall Revival Monday, Oct. 23, through Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m.
The Rev. Anthony Q. Corbett Sr., senior pastor of Lundy Chapel Baptist Church in Macon, Ga., will be the guest revivalist.
Corbett was born and raised in Dublin, where he attended Laurens County Schools and graduated from West Laurens High School. He studied at Andersonville Baptist Seminary in Camilla and went on to receive his Bachelor’s of Biblical Studies and Master’s Degree of Theology from Emanuel Bible College.
He was installed as the senior pastor of Lundy Chapel Baptist Church of Macon on May 31 , 1998.
Corbett presently serves as the state moderator ministers coordinator for the General Missionary Baptist Convention, Inc., which is comprised of more than 860 churches throughout the state of Georgia with over 500,000 members. Corbett formerly served as the moderator for Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Association.
During Corbett’s tenure, Lundy Chapel has experienced rapid growth in both membership and facility space. The church embodies a warm environment while operating with state-of-the-art equipment, according to a press release from Mother Easter Baptist Church. Collectively, the Lundy Chapel campus covers more than 32,000 square feet. Under Corbett, Lundy Chapel’s membership has expanded from 100 members to more than 860 members.
Corbett has been married to his wife, Juanita, for more than 27 years. They are the parents of five children and grandparents of five grandchildren.
“I love doing ministry, preaching the Word, and being around the people of God,” Corbett said. “Lundy is the place where we consistently focus on reaching the lost, teaching the found, and making disciples for heaven’s ground.”
Mother Easter Baptist Church is located at 1400 W. Central Ave., across from the old Riverside Manufacturing Company.
