Man suspects relative took his belongings

MOULTRIE, Ga. — A Norman Park man was missing four computers, clothes and kitchen appliances, and found a vulgar word scratched on his motorcycle.

Daniel Wilson, 400 block Doc Lindsey Road, Norman Park, reported Thursday that a female relative violated a court order by taking some of his belongings. The stolen property include eight pairs of pants, a slow cooker, Keurig coffee maker, four pairs of shoes and the four computers.

Wilson also showed an officer a two-word vulgar sentence carved into the gas tank of this 2012 Kawasaki EX 650. The seat also was cut and mirrors broken off of the bike, he reported.

• Moultrie Package, 1304 Veterans Parkway N., reported Thursday the theft of merchandise valued at $38.

• Wal-Mart, 641 Veterans Parkway S., reported Friday that two women concealed merchandise in their purses and left in a white car.

Employees did not have an estimate of the value of the stolen items.

• Roses, 215 Sixth St. S.E., reported Wednesday that a shoplifter stole merchandise valued at $40.

• Charles Lee Edwards, 600 block Fifth Street Southwest, reported Wednesday the theft of a speaker valued at $165.

• Yanira Taylor, 700 block Seventh Avenue Northwest, reported Wednesday the theft of property valued at $3 out of her car.

• Adrien Williams, 600 block Fourth Street Northwest, reported Wednesday the theft of $3 from a 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT.

• Courtney Graham, 28, 1114 Sixth Ave. N.W., was charged Thursday with giving false name or false information to police officer, drinking alcohol in public and public drunkenness.

• Stoney Walker, 20, 615 Eighth St. S.E., was charged Thursday with duty to obey police officer.

• Michael Wayne McMurphy, 53, was charged Thursday with two counts burglary.

• Allen Michael Robeson, 22, was charged Tuesday with theft by receiving stolen property.

• Robert Lee Taylor, 54, 211 Lazy Bear Road, Norman Park, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence (test refusal), open container in vehicle and driving while license withdrawn.

• Sammy Lee Hill, 45, 215 Eighth St. N.W., was charged Tuesday with battery and cruelty to children.

• Ronald Manuel Artica, 30, Indian Lake Drive, was charged Wednesday with duty to obey police officer.

• Arcoline Bernard Robinson Jr., 27, 104 E. Bethel Ave., was charged Wednesday with failure to appear.

• Adrian Dunshua Robinsohn, 610 12th St. N.W., was charged Wednesday with failure to appear.

• Wanna Lee Hightower, 27, 523 27th St. S.E., was charged Wednesday with failure to appear.

• Timothy Isaac McKee, 17, Fifth Avenue, was charged Wednesday with battery, obstruction of a police officer and disruption of  public school.

In addition, McKee also faces charges from a July 29 incident: three counts simple battery, fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, driving without license and reckless driving.

• Basil Anthony Sharpe, 47, 4371 Hwy. 37 W., was charged Monday with failure to register as a sex offender/failure to comply with requirements and failure to give change of address.

• Jeremy Wade Wyers, 38, 457 Lakeshore Road, was charged Oct. 1 with obstruction of a police officer and use of fighting words.

• Helen Jones, 300 block Myron Hart Road, reported Wednesday that a male companion abuses her and that on that day he had hit her in the chest and dislocated her right shoulder.

When police spoke with the man identified by Jones as her attacker he denied hitting her and said that they had an argument.

Jones had no visible injuries to her chest or shoulder, police said. She had her right hand wrapped from an injury she said occurred on an earlier occasion.

While the officer was at the residence, the man’s boss, who owns the residence, arrived and fired the man for being intoxicated and unable to perform his job on the farm. The man left with his mother, police said.
