North Florida holding Halloween activities

LIVE OAK — Suwannee, Hamilton and Lafayette counties are ready for Halloween.
Suwannee County
The City of Live Oak and the Live Oak Police Department will be hosting its ninth annual candy carnival at Millennium Park on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Mayor Sonny Nobles said trick-or-treating will end at 9 p.m. in the city limits.
“I urge everyone to be careful and watch the traffic,” Nobles said.
The candy carnival is open to the public and will have games, bouncy castles and enough candy for all the kids to enjoy.
Food and drinks vendors will be available.
Halloween in Branford will be Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Hillcrest subdivision will be pedestrian traffic only and will be closed off to all vehicles.
Town Clerk Donna Hardin said with approval of law enforcement approval handicap vehicles will be allowed to drive through.
Hamilton County
The City of Jasper will have its Trunk-or-Treating on Central Ave., starting at the Jasper Hardware and Supply Company to U.S. Highway 41, on Tuesday. Lineup starts at 5 p.m. and Trunk or Treating will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Trick-or-Treating in Jasper will start at 5 p.m. If houses are out of candy look for the porch light to be turned off.
Trick-or Treating in Jennings will take place Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Town Hall will be handing out candy and glow bracelets.
In South Hamilton, White Springs will also have Trick-or-Treating from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
If a house has run out of candy or will not be passing out candy, they are encouraged to turn off their porch light.
The White Springs Fire Rescue and Police Department are hosting a free haunted house at the Nature and Heritage Tourism Center on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday from 6:30-8 p.m.
Lafayette County
The Community Halloween Party and the Trunk-or-Treat will be Tuesday at the Lafayette Nursing and Rehab Center.
The event will start at 6 p.m. and include trunk or treating, music, food, a haunted house, games, bounce houses and a costume contest.
Lineup for vehicles that are going to be in the trunk or treat is at 5:30 p.m.
