The Nov. 9 town hall meeting will be conducted at Disciples of Jesus Ministries, 228 Augusta Aven., and the Nov. 13 meeting at Studio 209, 209 W Remington Ave.
“It will be a short presentation of important events in the district,” said Superintendent Dr. Laine Reichert.
A discussion forum, Reichert noted, will follow.
The meetings will focus on three topics:
• What Thomasville City Schools does well.
• Opportunities for growth.

• Skills and attributes a Thomasville High School graduate should possess.
“The community needs input into what our product is,” Reichert said.
The November town hall meetings are aimed to garner feedback.
“We’re gonna use the feedback we get from the meetings to inform our strategic planning,” Reichert said.
The meetings also will inform stakeholders of district goals, and provide Reichert an opportunity to express her beliefs about educating students, the superintendent noted.
Both town hall meetings will be broadcast live on the Thomasville City Schools Facebook page.
