The suspects “forced them back into the store, took the money from the cash register tills made for today’s (Thursday) business,” said Lt. Tim Watkins, sheriff’s office chief investigator.

One of the robbers, Watkins said, also forced a clerk to open the store’s safe and took the clerk’s phone and threw it.

“We later found that in the store,” he added.

Money was taken from three cash registers and safe.

One suspect also attempted to disable the store’s video system, according to reports.

The three male suspects each were described as wearing all black.
